Valentine Felty Van Hoose

VALENTINE FELTY VANHOOSE son of JOHN and HANNAH CHEEK VANHOOSER was born 1755 in Arson County, North Carolina. He married REBECCA MCLESTER in Montgomery Co., North Carolina. 

   

Emigrated to Alabama- Valentine Felty VanHoose, Pioneer, Revolutionary War Soldier, and Grand-daddy of the VanHooses in Alabama, was born 1755 in Montgomery County, North Carolina. He moved to Giles County, Tennessee for a short time. Later moving to Fayette County,Alabama, where he died about 1851.

According to the census records, they had nine children,

iv. ELIZABETH VANHOOSE, b. Abt. 1798, Montgomery Co., N.C.; m. (1) ALEXANDOR CHISM; m. (2) BENJAMIN GOOCH.

14. v. ISAIAH VANHOOSE, b. Abt. 1800, Montgomery County, North Carolina.
